S.T.R.E.A.M Education is integrated in the middle school, high school curriculum and part of it is implemented in preschool as applicable. Students are exposed to basics of modelling, designing, planning and control of robotic systems. They gain exposure to the systems of sensors, control systems, manipulators, power supplies and software that work together to perform a task.
It encourages students to become critical thinkers, while using the skills they need for a digital future. Building on a hands on approach, this curriculum provides solid teaching solution to support student engagement within Science, Technology, Robotics, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (S.T.R.E.A.M). It helps students to acquire first hand experience and demonstrate values such as collaboration, decision making, communication, creativity, critical thinking, problem solving, cognition, inquisitiveness and reasoning.
S.T.R.E.A.M gives an integration of all four subjects by following unique and applied approach with all real time applications. At RVS, S.T.R.E.A.M Education uses various science models, science projects, science experiments, math lab, hands on activities, science role plays and science games to foster all values. The knowledge acquired through this curriculum enables students to participate in science fairs and olympiads. Main goal of this curriculum is to provide extra edge to smoothen the process of graduating with readiness for college admissions in S.T.R.E.A.M related careers.
